The gable ended conservatory is in a league of its own with their stately and elegant and modern appearance. These conservatories are where the roof doesn't slope back to the centre from the front and it appears like a proper extension to your house.
These are very Georgian in style, and suited to modern properties as well as period properties.
The Roof on a Gable Ended Conservatory
The Gable End roof of this type of conservatory is totally different and departs from the Victorian and Edwardian conservator styles. These gable ended conservatories have high pitched roofs that meet in a ridge in the centre; these pitched roofs can be glazed, polycarbonate and do look stunning, like a proper extension if designed with a solid tiled roof. If you are considering a tiled roof then you really need to take a look at our warm tiled roof page for more information.

If you are considering a conservatory as an addition to your home then a gable ended conservatory might just be the right option for you; what type of conservatory compliments your property, and the space you have to play with also needs to be taken into account. They allow plenty of space and reflect a modern and trendy look and make a great extension to any home.
The gable ended conservatory can be customised with your choice of doors, windows and decorative finishes. You can opt for Upvc, timber or aluminium. They all have varying long lasting properties and come in a range of coloured uPVC foils.
