This business premises was getting draughty and Jason and Juli Toyne, Directors of Mintdale Engineering at Sheepbridge, Chesterfield knew the only way to get the energy bills down was to replace the windows and doors. The aluminium options for commercial windows and doors were coming in at a hefty price so after much consideration, Jason and Julie decided on their uPVC equivalent.
Opting for a chamfered anthracite grey design inside and outside; these uPVC commercial windows resembled their aluminium equivalent with their simple and stylish frame option but at a way more competitive price. Also with their 10 year guarantees on the frames, these were an excellent choice.
With all their heat being lost through the windows and having to pay costly heating bills, which were eating into their profits month in and month out, helped the company make their decision. This money drain soon makes any Director in charge of the finances question whether to just go for it and invest in new windows and doors that are thermally efficient as they knew there will always be a payback as well as make working conditions so much more comfortable for the staff.

Mintdale Engineering Ltd is a family-owned company that makes high quality precision-engineered parts for many industries in the UK. They use a variety of materials, including aluminium, brass, copper, steel, and plastic. They provide parts for the automotive, medical, naval, brewing and many others,
After several with Steven Sanderson, our Sereco Windows Director, we quoted both the aluminium commercial glazing ((Alitherm 400) as well as the chamfered Deceuninck uPVC option. Both options were quoted with bronze tinted glass for privacy. After seeing that the aluminium option was twice the price of the uPVC option, they opted for uPVC commercial glazing option, which was an excellent choice. Reasonably priced and aesthetically pleasing.

Jason Toyne, The CEO of Mintdale decided that even though the aluminium windows looked really professional, he favoured the uPVC commercial windows. Several weeks later, we were installing the uPVC anthracite grey windows into their commercial building.
Here at Sereco Windows, we sourced their Deceuninck high end uPVC windows and spent the next couple of weeks, taking out their old windows, disposing of them and then installing for new. After completion, the whole building was transformed and the whole interior so much warmer.
The 2500 Deceunick chamfered profile windows are a stylish and elegant but also traditional window style and easily meet all the high stringent U values for retaining heat.
Unlike the flush windows, this style has outward opening sashes that stand proud of the window frame and have a clean yet subtle appearance.
A range of hardware accessories are available for all the chamfered, flush, and sculptured range of windows, including a variety of handles and glass options. To name but a few, w offer teardrop, monkey tails, and connoisseur handles; all that blend in with the property's existing aesthetics.
